Jerónimo Martins, a leader in the retail sector in Poland, operating over 3400 Biedronka stores and 16 logistics centers nationwide, is our longstanding business partner. Collaboration with Jerónimo Martins is another example of our commitment to delivering exceptional energy solutions for the B2B sector.

In addition to the comprehensive implementation of photovoltaic installations at 250 Biedronka stores, the Quanta Energy team undertook the preparation and construction of an installation at a state-of-the-art distribution center located on a 9-hectare plot in Stawiguda near Olsztyn. The facility where the work was carried out occupies 38,000 square meters, which is more than 5 full-size soccer fields.

It is worth noting that the distribution center in Stawiguda, besides the photovoltaic installation consisting of 1728 modules with a power of 405W each, is equipped with various environmentally friendly solutions, such as: refrigeration fully based on the use of natural gases (CO2), or an intelligent LED lighting system that adjusts to the level of natural light intensity.

The photovoltaic modules are positioned in a southern exposure at an angle of 15 degrees. The proper functioning of the entire installation is monitored by the SCADA system from Nomad Electric, which, like Quanta Energy, belongs to the R.Power group. The SCADA system allows for online monitoring of the installation’s operation and in case of any abnormalities, it sends alerts directly to the personnel responsible for O&M.
