A multi-stage endeavor involving numerous engineers, designers, and specialists has just concluded. It comprises over 25,000 photovoltaic modules across 250 different locations throughout Poland.

Green energy from rooftop photovoltaic installations at Biedronka stores will power lighting systems, refrigerated counters, freezers, air conditioning, and bread baking machines. Thanks to the photovoltaic installations, energy consumption will decrease by approximately 15% annually for each store included in the project.

How much energy can be saved as a result? Annually, the electricity produced by our installations would be sufficient, for example, to drive 75 million kilometers with an electric car. That’s nearly the distance from Earth to Venus and back. This electrical energy would also be enough to circumnavigate our planet 1850 times along the equator in an electric car.
